New Website Launch: No Nonsense Handyman Services

When someone lands on a trades website, they usually want to know three things pretty quickly: what do you do, do you cover my area, and can I trust you to do the job properly?

That was the thinking behind the new website we’ve built for No Nonsense Handyman Services.

Paul already had a clear idea of the type of work he wanted to attract, but the website needed a better structure, stronger content and a more personal feel. The goal wasn’t to overcomplicate things. It was to make the business easier to understand and easier to contact.

A clearer structure

We planned the site around the services customers are actually looking for, rather than trying to squeeze everything onto one page.

The new structure includes:

  • Interior Handyman Services
  • Exterior Repairs & Maintenance
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Plastering & Render Repairs
  • About Me
  • Contact

That gives each main service room to explain what Paul can help with, while keeping the navigation simple for visitors.

Making the business feel personal

For a local handyman business, people aren’t just buying a service. They’re choosing the person they’re going to let into their home.

So the website needed to sound like Paul, not like a generic building company.

We rewrote the content in the first person, added Paul’s own photograph and used genuine photos of his work throughout the site. That helps visitors get a much better feel for who they’re dealing with before they make an enquiry.

A familiar brand, with a softer look

Paul’s red branding was already recognisable, so there was no reason to throw that away.

Instead, we kept the red as an accent and introduced softer greens and cream tones around it.

The result still feels like No Nonsense Handyman Services, but the overall website is warmer and easier on the eye.

Built around the work Paul wants

The site also reflects the areas Paul covers across East Sussex and Kent and the kind of jobs he wants more enquiries for.

Rather than filling pages with vague statements, the service pages explain the actual work he carries out and give visitors clear routes to get in touch.

That includes a straightforward contact form, prominent calls to action and mobile-friendly layouts, so it’s easy to enquire whether someone is sitting at a laptop or standing in front of a job that needs sorting.

The technical bits matter too

Behind the scenes, the site has been built in WordPress using Avada, with the foundations in place for search visibility and future growth.

We’ve completed the core SEO setup, added page titles and meta descriptions, optimised images and connected Google Search Console so the site can be monitored as Google discovers and indexes the new pages.

We also tested the enquiry form, and it’s working.

The result

The finished website gives No Nonsense Handyman Services a much stronger base online.

It’s clearer, more personal and much easier for potential customers to understand what Paul does, where he works and how to contact him.

Most importantly, it feels like his business.
